2.2. Payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept various payment methods, as specified on our website.
2.3 Chargebacks and Collections
In the event of a disputed charge or chargeback, we reserve the right to use all available documentation related to the order, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and correspondence, to formally dispute the claim. If a chargeback proceeds and remains unresolved, the account balance may be referred to a third-party collection agency for recovery. As part of this process, a printed copy of relevant correspondence and supporting documents may be mailed to the addresses associated with the order.
3.1. Due to the seasonal availability of flowers, we reserve the right to substitute specific blooms with alternative flowers of equal or greater value, while maintaining the same style, shape, and color scheme as your original selection.
3.2. The appearance of the final floral arrangement may vary slightly from the images on our website due to the nature of our craft and the use of the freshest seasonal blooms.
we are dedicated to delivering the freshest and most exquisite floral arrangements to your recipients. However, nature’s beauty is seasonal, and occasionally, certain flowers may be unavailable due to factors beyond our control, such as seasonal variations or unforeseen circumstances.
In such instances, we reserve the right to substitute unavailable flowers with alternative blooms of equal or greater value while maintaining the same shape, style, and color palette as your original selection. Our skilled florists will ensure that any substitutions are thoughtfully chosen to preserve the aesthetic and quality of your arrangement.
Please note that, on occasion, your flowers may be delivered in bud form to extend their longevity and ensure your recipient enjoys their beauty for as long as possible. Rest assured that we take every measure to uphold the spirit and elegance of your chosen arrangement, even in the face of Mother Nature’s variations.
Kindly be aware that the final arrangement may appear slightly different from the photos due to the nature of our craft, the freshest seasonal blooms, and our commitment to delivering the best possible floral experience.
We appreciate your understanding and trust in our commitment to crafting exceptional floral experiences, no matter the season or availability of certain flowers. If you have any specific preferences or concerns regarding substitutions, please feel free to contact us, and our team will be happy to assist you.

5.1. Cancellations may be accepted within a specified timeframe, as indicated on our website. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy.
5.2. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for orders that are canceled after a certain point in the order process.
5.3 It’s important to note that we cannot accept disputes, chargebacks, or refund requests once an order is marked as complete. Complaints will also be invalid if submitted more than four days after receiving the flowers.
5.4 We make every effort to ensure that our flower arrangements closely resemble the pictures on our website. However, due to the natural variations in fresh flowers, seasonal availability, and packaging, there may be slight differences between the product images and the delivered arrangements.

Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern use of makingdream.ca and purchases from Making Dream Bloom Inc., operating under the Making Dream brand. Please read them before placing an order or using the website.
Important: These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy. If mandatory law gives you a right that cannot be limited by contract, that right continues to apply.
1. Agreement, Orders and Payment
By using this website or placing an order with Making Dream, you agree to these Terms and Conditions as they apply to that use or order. If you do not agree, do not place an order or continue using the website.
1.1 Order Information
You are responsible for providing accurate order, billing, recipient, delivery and contact information. This includes the recipient name, complete address, postal code, telephone number, unit or buzzer information, institution details and any delivery instructions that apply to the destination.
1.2 Order Review
Before submitting an order, you should review the product, quantity, delivery or pickup date, recipient details, card message, charges and payment information shown during checkout. A customer remains responsible for information submitted with the order, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
1.3 Pricing, Taxes and Charges
Prices, taxes, delivery charges and other applicable amounts are shown on the website or during checkout. The amount presented for the order before payment is the amount applicable to that transaction, subject to correction of an obvious pricing or technical error as permitted by law.
1.4 Payment
Payment is required when an order is placed. Available payment methods are the methods presented by the website at checkout.
1.5 Availability and Order Acceptance
Flowers and related products depend on seasonal supply, market availability and delivery-area availability. An order may be declined or cancelled if an item cannot reasonably be supplied, the delivery destination cannot be served, payment cannot be completed, the order appears fraudulent or unlawful, or a material website error affected the transaction. If Making Dream cancels an order for one of these reasons after payment has been collected, the amount due back will be returned to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing.
2. Product Photos, Floral Variation and Product Descriptions
Flowers, plants and other natural products are not identical manufactured items. Product photographs show the intended design, style, colour direction and general presentation, but natural and seasonal variation can cause the delivered item to differ from a photograph.
Natural Variation
Bloom size, petal shape, shade, stem thickness, foliage, opening stage and natural markings can vary from one stem or plant to another.
Photography and Scale
Camera angle, lighting, crop, vase shape, flower opening and surrounding objects can affect how size and colour appear in a photograph.
Seasonal Supply
Specific varieties may be unavailable because of season, grower supply, transportation, weather or market conditions.
2.1 Similarity to Website Photos
Making Dream aims to prepare each arrangement in the style and colour direction shown or described on the applicable product page. Exact replication of a photograph is not promised unless the product page expressly states that a particular element is guaranteed.
2.2 Containers, Packaging and Accessories
If a container, wrap, ribbon or other non-floral component shown in a product image is unavailable, a replacement may be used when permitted by the product description or substitution terms. Any replacement should serve the same general function and remain appropriate for the ordered design.
3. Stem Grades, Heights and Measurements
Measurements shown on a floral product page must be read according to the type of measurement stated. A supplier stem grade is different from the finished height of a bouquet or arrangement.
Stem-grade example: If roses are described as approximately 60 cm grade, 70 cm grade, or another stem grade, that measurement generally refers to the approximate supplier or wholesale stem grade before florist conditioning and arrangement preparation, unless the product page expressly states that it is a finished measurement.
3.1 Conditioning Changes Finished Stem Length
Florist preparation can include hydration, cleaning, removal of lower foliage or thorns, removal of damaged stem ends and trimming for the selected bouquet, vase, box or other design. As a result, the finished stem length or visible stem length can be shorter than the supplier stem grade.
3.2 Stem Grade Is Not Finished Arrangement Height
A reference to a 60 cm, 70 cm or other stem grade does not mean that the completed bouquet, vase arrangement, flower box or visible portion of each stem will measure that same length. Finished dimensions depend on the design, container, flower placement, stem angle and florist preparation.
3.3 Approximate Finished Dimensions
If a product page gives a finished height, width, diameter or other arrangement dimension and labels it as approximate, normal variation may occur because flowers and plants are natural materials and are arranged by hand. If a product page expressly states a fixed measurement, that specific statement governs the order subject to any mandatory legal rights.
3.4 Measurement Method
Unless the product page says otherwise, a flower stem length is measured along the stem and an arrangement dimension refers to the completed item at its ordinary widest or tallest point, as applicable. Decorative foliage, naturally curved stems and bloom position can affect the apparent dimension.
4. Flower Substitution
Floral supply changes throughout the year. If a flower or component required for an arrangement is unavailable, Making Dream may use a substitute when substitution is permitted by the product page or is reasonably needed to complete the order.
- A substitute should be suited to the design and intended colour direction.
- The replacement should not reduce the ordered product's stated value.
- The florist may adjust surrounding flowers or foliage so the finished design remains coherent after a substitution.
- Flowers may arrive in a more closed or bud stage when that is normal for freshness and flower life.
If a specific flower, colour or component is essential to your order, contact Making Dream before ordering so availability can be checked. A request is not guaranteed unless Making Dream confirms it.
5. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery areas, available dates, delivery charges and ordering cutoffs are shown on the website or during checkout. Availability can differ by postal code, date and order type.
5.1 Delivery Times
Making Dream will make reasonable efforts to deliver on the requested delivery date accepted for the order. A specific arrival time is not guaranteed unless Making Dream expressly confirms that time for the order. Traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, institutional rules, high-volume periods and events outside reasonable control can affect timing.
5.2 Recipient and Access Information
The customer must provide enough information for the delivery location. For condos, apartments, hospitals, care facilities, funeral homes, hotels, offices and event venues, this can include unit, buzzer, room, department, service, reservation, concierge or receiving information.
5.3 Restricted Locations
A hospital, care facility, funeral home, hotel, condominium, office or other property may impose its own receiving or access rules. Making Dream is not responsible for a location's independent refusal to accept flowers or for restrictions that the customer or recipient did not disclose, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by law.
6. Cancellations, Returns, Claims and Refunds
The detailed rules are set out in the Return and Refund Policy. The following terms state the confirmed business rules that apply to orders unless mandatory law requires a different result.
6.1 Customer-Requested Cancellations
48 Hours or More
An approved cancellation made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup receives an 85% refund, reflecting the 15% cancellation fee.
24 to Less Than 48 Hours
An approved cancellation made from 24 hours to less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup receives a 50% refund.
Less Than 24 Hours
A customer-requested cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup is not eligible for a cancellation refund.
6.2 Peak Periods
Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and Father's Day are peak periods and may be subject to the restricted cancellation terms stated in the Return and Refund Policy or disclosed for the applicable order.
6.3 Product-Condition Claims
A concern about damage, condition, an incorrect item, a missing item or an incomplete order must be reported on the delivery day. Making Dream may request the order number, photographs, delivery information and other material reasonably needed to review the claim. A complete claim may take up to four calendar days to review and process.
6.4 Remedies
If Making Dream approves a product-condition claim, the remedy may be a replacement, redelivery, partial refund or full refund, depending on the claim and applicable law. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
6.5 Change-of-Mind Returns and Exchanges
Making Dream does not accept change-of-mind returns. Exchanges are not offered apart from a replacement approved by Making Dream as a remedy for an accepted claim.
6.6 Physical Returns
Do not send or bring back a product unless Making Dream has approved a physical return. The shipping, courier or other return cost for an approved physical return is CAD $15, except where applicable law requires Making Dream to bear the cost or requires another result.
6.7 Categories Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Return or Refund
Custom or personalized items, sale or promotional items, gift orders, subscriptions, plants, candles, balloons, gift baskets and other product categories are not eligible for change-of-mind return or refund. This clause does not remove a remedy that must be provided under applicable law or an approved remedy for a valid product-condition claim.
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If a payment is disputed, Making Dream may provide the payment provider, card issuer or other authorized party with records relevant to the transaction, including the order, invoice, delivery record, correspondence and claim history, as permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from using a dispute or chargeback right that is available under applicable law or the rules governing the customer's payment method. Making Dream may contest a dispute when its records support the transaction.
8. Website Use
You may use makingdream.ca for lawful personal or business purchasing and for reviewing Making Dream's products and services. You must not misuse the website or interfere with its operation.
- Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity or unauthorized payment activity.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, servers or systems.
- Do not introduce malicious code or intentionally interfere with website security or operation.
- Do not copy, republish or commercially use protected website content without permission or another lawful basis.
8.1 Website Availability and Errors
Making Dream may correct website errors, update product information, change site functions or temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or operational reasons. An obvious typographical, technical or pricing error does not create a right to require performance on the erroneous term when correction is permitted by law.
8.2 Third-Party Services and Links
The website may rely on or link to third-party services used for functions such as payment, security, analytics, maps, communications or other site operations. Third-party services can have their own terms and privacy rules. Making Dream is responsible for its own legal obligations and does not control independent third-party websites.
9. Intellectual Property
Website text, photographs, graphics, branding, logos, product descriptions, page layouts and other content owned by Making Dream or licensed to it are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership right is transferred to a website visitor or customer merely through website access or purchase of a product.
You may use the website for ordinary browsing and purchasing. Any reproduction, republication, commercial reuse or modification of protected content requires permission unless the use is otherwise permitted by law.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to Making Dream's Privacy Policy. Order information can include information about the purchaser and a separate recipient. A customer who provides another person's contact or delivery information is responsible for providing it for a legitimate order-related purpose.
11. Disclaimers, Liability and Mandatory Rights
11.1 Natural and Perishable Products
Fresh flowers and plants are perishable natural products. Their appearance and life can be affected by season, temperature, handling, water, environment and care after delivery. Nothing in this clause limits a right or remedy that cannot be limited by law.
11.2 Website Information
Making Dream aims to keep website information accurate, but does not promise that every page will be free from typographical, technical or temporary errors. Product-specific statements confirmed for an order and mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
11.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Making Dream is not responsible for losses that are remote, indirect or not reasonably foreseeable from the transaction. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not remove statutory consumer remedies.
11.4 Ontario Consumer Rights
These Terms are intended to operate with Ontario consumer law, including rules that may apply to internet agreements. If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory right or remedy that cannot be waived, the mandatory rule prevails to the extent of the conflict.
11.5 Events Outside Reasonable Control
Making Dream is not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law. Examples can include severe weather, road closure, power or network outage, government restriction, labour disruption, major transportation interruption or another event that prevents ordinary fulfilment or delivery.
12. General Contract Terms
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory rule that applies to the customer or transaction.
12.2 Severability
If a court or other authority finds a provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
12.3 No Waiver
A delay in enforcing a contractual right does not by itself waive that right.
12.4 Relationship With Other Policies
The Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy form part of the website's policy framework. For a return, refund or cancellation issue, the Return and Refund Policy provides the more specific rules. For personal information, the Privacy Policy provides the more specific rules.
12.5 Changes to These Terms
Making Dream may revise these Terms for future website use and future orders. A change does not retroactively replace the terms that governed a completed transaction unless the parties agree or applicable law permits or requires the change.
